Angela Roye, Founder and Principal of Angela Roye’s Child Development Center

Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Proverbs – Chapter 22 Verse 6.

You will always hear the joyful sounds of children laughing, talking, playing, and singing at our Center. Ours is a noisy Center, with a purpose. We encourage loud and clear communication.

Ours is also a Center that understands children well. My teachers and I try to understand the unspoken words of children through their smiles, tears and frowns.

Teaching children in these tender years is not only about academic education. It is about preparing them for life and for what lies ahead once they leave our sheltered environment. Learning through everyday life gives some of the most important lessons not found in any syllabus.

We want children to be happy and feel safe with us. We want them to love coming to school and never to feel sad when they are here.
Sharing and caring for others, respect, good manners, hygiene, these and many more are what we try to inculcate in them.

Admiring and appreciating nature – the clouds high up in the sky, a butterfly flitting by, the sweet sound of a bird or, the noise of a squirrel, these must never go unnoticed and, we draw their attention to it, thus introducing a love for nature and later, a respect for it.

Children are a joy and we love being with them. We pride ourselves on being a warm and welcoming second home to them.
Please stop by our Center anytime and you will see, hear, and experience for yourself, the joy we are talking about.
